OK, so I just purchased the software, created the ISO and all is good. So I should be able to delete the ESD files right? Step 16 here: Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant - Download and Run As well as the download assistant files?

I'm thinking yeah, but just to double check.

    Thanks

Yup, as long as you have the ISO file you can delete all the other files. EXCEPT the Activation Key ofcourse .

That is basicaly the same situation as when you would do a reinstallation of your system. In that case you also only have the ISO and activation key. I know I did a reinstall that way.

Better to check double than to check not at all!!!

Yeah well I already did, well moved them off my SSD drive. Anyway I've already got the key written down elsewhere.

Anyway I just wanted another copy since I got my first one for free. I figure 40 bucks for an OS isn't bad, and if it flops, it's only 40 bucks

    Thanks.
