Hi everybody
Some people are still undecided whether to use 32 or 64 bit OS or even the 32 / 64 bit version of applications
If you can ALWAYS go for the 64 bit version these days
Here's an example -- I'm on a 16 GB RAM machine -- two screen shots of memory allocation using the 32 bit version of Photoshop CS6 and the 64 bit version of the same release of Photoshop CS6
I think the results speak for themselves.
(Same differences will occur as other applications are optimised for 64 bit operation).
Office 2010 will also benefit from 64bit operation too if you have large presentations / spread sheets)
