computer encountered an error and shut down

the last few days a came upon my computer and it was shut down when i restarted the computer
it said the computer encountered an error an shut down

sending info to Microsoft

1- how can i find out what caused the error
2- has others had similar this problem

Yes, have had same problem.
Be doing something & ERROR+Need to shut down.

Got several large Windows Updates afterwards.

Lots of bugs in win 8. When they fix them all we'll get windows 9 & start all over...........................:haha:
