    No Delete Confirmation for Explorer

When I use the "Delete" key in Explorer I don't get a confirmation - it just deletes it; very dangerous if you are just editing a filename. Any resolve???? thanks....

Jumped to quick: When I enabled the confirmation in Recycle Bin, it enabled it in Explorer.

That little notification is really quite superfluous to have. The reason to such is that when you delete something, you just send that file basically, over to the Recycle Bin. You just confirm whether or not to move it to Recycle Bin. It's DEFINITELY a time saver when you work with a lot of files! Windows DOES give you that dialog box when you delete things off a flash drive or any other removable storage.

Win 7 got a bit notorious for issues related to long (30 - 60 sec) pauses when moving, copying, or deleting files, mostly on the LAN but also at times on local disks. Hi, I notice that when I delete a file in Windows Explorer, I don't get a confirmation prompt. Is there a way to turn that back on? I've had a bit of a look around, but I'm really surprised at how cut-down Explorer has become....in fact I might just call it Explorer Lite :p Thanks, Golden
