Solved Windows Measures Internet Speed How To Change It Manually?

It's nothing new, but because of the new Task Manager I started to care about it after installing Windows 8. Normally my internet speed is only about 1 mbps (~8 mbit). Because of that, the task managers' "Network" bar shows wrong percents. I assume that that is because Windows reports wrong wired internet speed (100 mbps).
Is there anyway to change it so hopefuly I can see meaningful data?
Thanks!

Windows does not report your internet speed. It reports your NETWORK speed, and your network connection between your computer and your modem is much greater than the speed of your internet.

Windows has no facility to measure, or specify the speed of your internet.

In Task Manager, if you click on the 'Performance' tab next to the 'Process' tab, then select 'Ethernet', is that what you're looking for? The graph auto-scales.
