XP to Win 8 from Win 8 Preview

I did a major upgrade of my pc a little while ago, I've just been using win 8 preview since then. Anyway there is the offer to "upgrade" from windows XP, but my XP disc says "includes service pack 2", does that mean I can't get the offer? Also, I have the original XP disc with all the holographic stuff on it, but I don't think I have the packaging anymore, is that a problem?

You can do a clean install, but you need to delete the Windows XP install.
