my laptop is jus 25 days old but in these 25 days I had to forcefully shut it down 8 times by pressing the power button few seconds since it froze...
I just want to know how bad it is to forcefully shut down laptop this frequently??? how can I avoid it or solve it and what are its effects??

It's still under warranty, return it or make whoever you bought it from fix it. A new computer should not freeze.

Have you made any significant changes to the computer? What were they? Did you install updates for example? Did the computer work properly for any significant period of time between your first use of it and when it started misbehaving? If the answer especially to the last question is yes, then you may be able to get your computer to work properly again by doing a system restore. But, a system restore will be impossible if you have not set the computer to automatically make restore points or created an appropriate restore point yourself. Your computer also may have a restore partition that will allow you to take it back to factory-fresh condition. And, by any chance did your computer come with an installation DVD?
