Well, i wanted to try if the System Recovery of Windows 8 works,
So i inserted the CD, restarted, clicked "Esc" key on start, selected An option to insert CD/USB Drive (something like that) i choosed the CD Option, but it doesnt redirects to system recovery, and start windows normally.

If i refresh i will lose my applications?
Startup to installer DVD. In your case, try just letting the DVD start automatically. Insert it as soon as your restart your PC.;
Choose language, etc.
Hit next
Choose “Repair your computer”
Choose “Troubleshoot” to see these options:
“Refresh your PC
Reset your PC
Advanced options”--Choosing this option gives these additional options:

System Image Recovery
Automatic Repair
Command Prompt”
Refresh your PC—Attempts to solve system related problems without affecting your files (system is reinstalled). Installed programs will have to be reinstalled except those from the Windows Store. Command Prompt—Provides command prompt allowing additional repair options
