Okay so a few hours ago I accidentally held the power button down and it shut off my computer. Now it wont come back up. Every time I turn it back on it trys to repair its self and it fails. And then it just restarts over and over and never gets anywhere. Sometimes it will pull it up to the restore screen and I click restore and it says it has to restart and never gets anywhere. Im pretty computer smart and this one has me lost.

Please help thanks

Do you have an install DVD? If yes, try starting up to it and using the repair your PC link to repair startup from "outside" the hard drive. In this regard, see if system restore will work. Also, I am not sure which f keys do what on your machine, but use them to see if you can apply any fix/start up options--e.g., start to last known good configuration. After starting from your DVD if you have one, you may be able to use the SFC /SCANNOW command via the command prompt available via the repair your PC link. Check this command out here.
