    Windows cannot boot

I have 2 drives, one with win7 and the other with win8, i was trying to remove win7 when i made win8 to be the active drive, when i reboot it stays in an error screen saying that boot files are missing, now i can't start up my windows, so far all i can do is repair it using a cd but all i can do is get a bootable usb, will it work?

Physically disconnect the Windows 7 HD drive.
Make the Windows 8 HD, disk0 & first HD boot in BIOS.Also connected to the first Sata port on the MOBO.

Than do a Auto Repair first, than work down the list below until Windows is booting OK.

How to do a Auto Repair:

    How do a Refresh:

No no no, isn't the active one is the System Reserved Partition?
