Check this Windows 8 Registry file

If anyone has Windows 8, can one go into the Registry and Find RunMRU and see if you have a file called "control/1" - I had someone do a bit of work in my Registry this morning and am hoping the guy was legit. Does that file appear to be correct?

Also, I notice when go to Paste something in here, the Right Click options is not working whereas it does in Google Chrome. Is there some addon that would do this?

I can't paste attachments in here to position them in the post.

I just have to look leave them as attached files.

I don't have that issue at Sevenforums.

what do you means by file call control/1 , you means a real file some place on the PC or a registry key

as for RunMRU, of course it's in the registry of Windows 8

Brink, as stated, a chap from Microsoft put control/1 in there - there are also seven keys total. Does this sound correct to you?

    Hello Gloosecap,

RunMRU is the registry key where the auto suggestions are kept for the RUN dialog box. The suggestions are what you have previously typed and opened from within the Run dialog. The MRUList string value in the right pane is the order by letter in which they are listed in the Run dialog.

This is nothing to worry about it.

Run "Auto Suggest" History - Delete in Windows
