Can't delete a folder

I have a folder called C:\8e2766e5fa559c32dee2f00483e114 that contains a file called MPSigStub.exe.
I can't delete it even though I've look at the 'take ownership' tutorials. Keep on getting '....require permission from IAIN-PC\Iain to make changes' error.
I am Iain!
Any ideas?

Thanks. I'm obviously being incredibly stupid here, but I can't see how Unlocker works. I thought there might be an addition to the right-click menu, but no.
How does it work?

Thanks, but the problem is, there is no Unlocker item on the right-click menu. Maybe it doesn't work in W8. Have you tried it?

MPSigStub.exe is created by Windows update, do you have some update that fail, my guess is that if you delete it and the problem is not solve it may come back

If you want erase it without installing crapy software from C-Net, just restart in safe mode

"NET Editors' note:Unlocker includes optional bundled software that may trigger alerts from security software. Unlocker has been tested for malware by the CNET Download.com team and meets our security requirements"

I like this one, like if we can trust them

I have moved the folder, and there have been no problems. Didn't have a failed install.
Unlocker just isn't working as there is no right-click menu option.

Are you using a 64 bit Windows version ? Because unlocker has a 64bit . Once you install it reboot your system afterward locate a file or folder you want to try it on it should show once you right click the folder
