    WHERE THERE'S SMOKE THERE'S FIRE...
A report out from Microsoft watcher Paul Thurrot seems to indicate things aren’t going that great, with Thurrot citing unnamed sources at the company who say that sales of Windows 8 PCs are below Microsoft projections.
That transformative nature of the product could give some users cold feet, sticking with existing products or considering alternatives.
JUST SAY-N Like I stated this new operating system was not fully baked and crashes..A lot

I was having the crashing problems too but since I applied the latest updates the whole thing seems to have stabilized.

and I simply think you are a fanboi...

Look around you, listen to what people are saying...I am happy you like it, I don't hate it, I just don't find it efficient, I think they should have left the start orb. But thats just me. I don't have to buy it or use it. I certainly, won't tell people to run out and buy it.
Karter ... this isn't ZDNet. Let's not get into calling names, OK? Mystere isn't being a "fanboi", he's expressing his opinion about how he likes Win8. I'm not a moderator, but if I were I'd toss you off here for being that rude.

    thanks for the link

"Microsoft recommends to uninstall – third party – audio and video drivers"

this is not that simple, if you remove your GPU drivers and re install a new version ( cause a new one as been release since the last one you installed) , it can create a mess with the old stuff left in the registry.
