Preparing automatic repair loop unable to boot

I am unable to boot my laptop with Windows 8 Pro. It was working fine after upgrade finished from win 7, but IE10 locked up and I pressed the power button for 4 secs to shut it off, when turning it back on it's locked on a loop preparing auto repair, diagnosing , Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC , shut down or advance options," every thing I try goes back to restart the same loop. Is there a way to bypass the prep auto repair on startup? I tried booting from installation disk but at a certain point it tells you to remove installation media and boot from OS and again the same loop. Help!!!!!!

I had this happen on a laptop with an SSD that was refurbished, but tested ok. At this point it's kinda scary and I'm not sure if I can really trust the OS. I'm going to try a different SSD, but that repair loop is a bad, bad sign. Hopefully they can get this fixed ASAP.

I did, safe boot would even go into the loop. I was using Bitlocker, and it was asking for the recovery key each time on mine too, a real pain. Something got corrupted real bad. I'm hoping it was the SSD. I've heard of turning off fast boot and hibernation to help stop startup issues, so on my new desktop I did last night that was the first thing I did, so hopefully that one will be ok.

Shift F8 or safe mode do the same thing. There is a file that did not close correctly, so on boot up it is messing up, there's got to be a way around this
