Lost Calendar

My computer is also a television and I was watching a program when all of a sudden a message flashed on the screen asking for my Microsoft Password. I could not remember it and when I finished watching my program and went to the Start page the Calendar had disappeared.

Can someone please advise why I have been asked for a password all of a sudden and how I get the Calendar back
