Solved Upgrading a HDD

I bought an Asus VivoBook X202E which comes with a 500 gig HDD. I have thought a 1 TB drive laying around that I want to put into this. However, the notebook doesn't come with a install disc, or even a CD key for Windows, or I am just not seeing the CD key. Does anyone how you are able to replace the hard drives if they don't give you a copy of Windows or a CD key? Maybe the key is stored in the BIOS? And if they is the case, then where do I get the installer for Windows 8? I do have a Win 8 Pro disc but that was for a new desktop I built. It is my understanding that the Pro disc can not install the on-Pro version.

I just spoke with a polite & well-informed person at Asus tech support regarding how to create a disk image for my new g75 (which I purchased yesterday) that has Windows 8 on it.

The answer was what I feared- currently there are no Asus-provided recovery tools to create a disk image for the G75VW with Windows 8. This was very surprising to me but right now this is the official word from Asus.

Doing some reading and looks like the key is in the BIOS. So my only questions are is can I download the installed for Windows 8? Or can I just install the OEM Pro version I have and use the embedded CD key to only activate the non-Pro Windows 8?
