I Love it.

Sorry I've got to say this, 'I have actually grown to love Windows 8'

I'm no spring chicken and I have learnt to adapt and I like it more each day, so if you are not sure give it a bit more time.

I quite like Windows 8 too. Despite everyone saying that Windows 8 is not geared for use on a Desktop PC with a mouse & keyboard I say is rubbish.

Once you're familiar with how the interface works, and it really doesn't take long, you're flying around in no time. I really don't have a problem with Windows 8 on a Desktop PC so imagine it will be a great experience on Microsoft's Surface Tablet.
