Are you running Windows 8 Pro in a To Go setup?

By default, Windows doesn't allow access to the Windows Store. This was done because of potential licensing issues with certain apps that won't allow you to roam across different PCs as that license is associated for THAT particular PC's hardware. This can be changed through Group Policy though. I personally haven't had success with this using the WAIK install method and doing this. It will allow access to the Window Store, but won't install apps.

To my knowledge I have not run or turned on windows to go. From what I read when you restart it cancels windows to go. This is another feature of windows 8 which takes a teche to understand & I am not a teche. Thanks for you reply jimjoh
