hi guys,
I have windows 8. I've created 2 group policy files - respectively called locked.msc and the other called unlocked.msc.
As you can imagine, the unlocked.msc had default settings and the locked.msc restricted a lot of settings for the user.
The problem is that I needed to install some software and so n Microsoft Management Console, I opened the unlocked.msc and then saved it. This of course cleared all settings and I was back to normal. I installed the necessary apps and now saved the locked.msc settings. This should have updated the settings, but has made no difference.
So I then ran in command prompt GPUPDATE /FORCE. This gives the output that the update was successful, but actually it does nothing
Any help guys please?
