Go to C:\Users\(you)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX

these folders seem to contain the shortcuts for the Tips menu.
I just tried adding things, but after rebooting nothing changed.

That's interesting.

Here's a tip for all those that want to boot directly to the desktop. Copy the Desktop link (don't move, make sure you copy) in group 1 to your startup folder. Boom. Boot to desktop.

As a command:

Code:
copy "C:\Users\(you)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\Group1\Desktop.lnk" "C:\Users\(you)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
