After installing Windows 8 Pro my @ and " symbols are on the wrong keys, how do I swap them. I have checked the language for my keyboard and all is good.

Thanks

Attempt to see if you may need new drivers for the keyboard. . .just an idea.:D

Try using the on-screen keyboard and see if the problem also exists. If not, it's likely a problem with your keyboard.

To open the on screen keyboard go to the Start Menu, right-click and touch All apps, then look for Windows Ease of Access.

Its definitely set up as a USA keyboard as I don't have the £ sign in the right place as well and the on screen keyboard confirms this.

Its not a big deal but I need to get it sorted.

Just go to language and regional settings and go to keyboard language and add The language setup you need ie UK

Curious... you say the @ and " keys are wrong what do you mean exactly? What happens when you type @ or " ? Nothing? Or does a different character appear?

Did you say you tried the onscreen keyboard and saw the same behavior?

I think I have it sorted, in the past I was using a Mac keyboard with my desktop machine (90 day trial of win 8) and it has synced the settings for that keyboard.
Just done a refresh of the laptop and all seems to be well but I haven't turned on syncing yet until I can find a way of wiping my synced data from my account online.

How do I do that.

Thanks.
