Hi,

I bought a new notebook and went into control panel, Programs, uninstall and uninstalled the online games. But when I go and show All Apps, they still show up. How do I remove them from there? If I right click on the icon of one of the games, it doesn't give me an option to delete it.

In the games app, it advertises games that are in the Store. So it's not install. Just advertised. Silly, indeed.

Edit: Looks like the Games tile is an app. Didn't know that. Thought it was a place where my games were.

No, these games were on the computer, from WildTangent, at least part of them, and they were listed to be uninstalled...but if I show all apps, they are still listed there.. not sure how to get rid of them.

Do this, go to All Apps, right click on those game entries, and hit Open file location. Select the links you don't want, and hit delete. Be careful though, don't delete folders UNLESS you know for sure it won't affect anything, like the Startup folder.

That did it... I left the folder there but it was empty. The category "Games" don't show up when listing All Apps now.

My daughter bought a new notebook also and she deleted the games but she right clicked on the game and said uninstall which took her to where I started, Programs, uninstall, and she uninstalled the games there, but it erased the shortcut links under games. So if you manually go uninstall the games it won't delete the shortcut links, you have manually delete them.

Thanks for everyones help.
