Help with the Share Charm

so right on the windows 8 website it states you can share photos from the web or from your picture directory by clicking on the share charm, and sure you can except the option to share directly to Facebook as again indicated on the Microsoft site does not work, there is no option to share to fb or to "People" from your pictures directory, only while browsing in IE 10 is there a share to "people" option but again it will only share a link to the URL I should be able to click a photo on a page and directly share it...
anyone have any insight???
also yes my fb account is properly linked

You can use the Photos app to share your photos to your favorite websites like Facebook, YouTube, or Flickr. Here's how:



  • Select the photos you want to share, open the Share charm, and then click People.

Do you have a beta or final edition of Windows 8? Windows 8 Release Preview? Consumer Preview? It may vary depending, because updates do not support those editions anymore.
