    I'm planning to purchase Office, which version of Office is compatible with Windows 8 Pro?

    Office 2013 is about to be released. You can't buy it yet, unfortunately.

    Office 2010 and 2007 are both supported. Office 2003 may work, but might have issues, and anything before that is probably really risky as they are long out of support. I know for a fact that Access 97 causes problems with Windows 7 and Windows 8.

    Office 2003 still works as well. I'm going to upgrade to 2010 or 2012 soon though.

Hi there judging by the latest advertising for Office 365 (subscription model - up to 5 PC's) and the restriction of Office 2013 being fixed to the ORIGINAL computer (i.e you can't move it when getting a new computer) I'd suspect that future Office products will now be only subscription models. ...
