Hi guys,
Just upgraded.

Just curious to know if there is a way to make the system search a little more fluid.

I used the WIN key to search for files mostly in Windows 7 and it would just display the file, so i only had to hit enter to open the file.

Now i get
Apps
Settings
Files

I need to search, then click files.

Is there a way to just show all items for a search term.

Thanks heaps
Jason

If you find out, please let me know. Right now, I am really despising how search is handled in Windows 8. It now takes more input to achieve the same results as in Windows 7. Search was one of the things I was hoping would really improve in this version but instead it has regressed. I ended up just installing Agent Ransack. It's ugly but it does the job quickly and thoroughly.

you can start typing, then hit the down arrow twice and enter to get files to be searched. But no, there is no way I know of to make this the default. You can use the hits though.
