Is that right? Just downloaded Windows 8, been having a few problems (firefox/internet explorer crash everytime I open it, chrome is the only one that works), but the one I want to know if it is correct or not, is when I rick click on the desktop all my icons/taskbar disappears, then pop back up in a couple seconds, like it is refreshing. No right click menu pops up or anything after that either.

Not sure if this is normal or not, and if not, any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks!

I don't think that's right, when I right click I get a bar on the bottom to choose "all apps"

Mine does that on my home screen metro thing or whatever everyone calls it. But I'm talking about when I've actually clicked desktop and am on that? Unless yours does that on your desktop too?

Thanks again!

Check to see if your taskbar is not set to autohide - right click on the taskbar and select properties

nope, its not. I've had a bunch of little glitches and stuff since downloading, can't even power down without holding my power button. I think i need to do a clean install maybe? Not sure how to though.
