WMC on Enterprise edition

Let me first off say that I absolutely love Windows 8, and I would like to apologize to Microsoft on the doubt I had.
Anyway....
I am an MSDN subscriber, and I was able to install the Windows 8 RTM. My problems comes from the choice. My subscription didn't allow me to obtain the Windows 8 Pro version. My subscription did, however, allow me to obtain the Enterprise edition. What I don't understand first of all, is how come I'm allowed to get a more expensive version for free, but I can't get the Pro version?

Now to my main problem, I like Windows 8 Enterprise, but I noticed that Pro is the only version that allows the WMC add-on, which doesn't make any sense to me as Enterprise is the more expensive version. My question is will there be any way to get WMC for the enterprise version? I enjoyed it a lot in Windows 7 since I streamed HD movies to my Xbox 360.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your MSDN account certainly does give you access to WIndows 8 pro. You have to download the ISO for Windows 8 and when you click on Get Keys, you just have to pick the 8 Pro key instead of the standard 8 key.

I get that message, yet it allows me to download and get keys from Enterprise.

You are looking at the VOLUME LICENSE (VL) edition of Windows 8 PRO and that is unavailable to you.

Look just for Windows 8, not the VL edition;

I noticed that version isn't the Pro version. Will I be able to use WMC on that version you highlighted?

The Product Key determines whether you get standard or Pro.

Click on the link for Product keys and you will 2 licenses listed (one for Windows 8 and one for Windows 8 Pro), get the Windows 8 Pro key and that is what will actually install.

Did you look on pages 2 or 3? You should have a non-VL version of 8 Pro

Windows 8 Pro doesn't show up in MSDN. The only one labeled Pro is the VL version of the VL -N variant.

However, Pro IS available, you just gotta pick the standard Windows 8, hit Product Keys and get the appropriate key...as shown below

As for WMC, Enterprise users don't need it on their enterprise computers.
