Borderlands Lock up?!?

I have the newest drivers for my AMD 6950 that came out yesterday, a q9450, and 4gb of ram. Borderlands has been locking up since I have installed W8. I can sometimes play for hours on end and nothing happens or I can play for a minute or 2 and I get a complete game lockup. Not a crashing issue but a lockup. I can task manager and end it but thats it. Anyone else have this issue or a way to fix it? I have tried reinstalling my drivers, the game, and even taking off my overclock on the card and the cpu. What else can I do?

My Borderland 2 runs fine but I have a Nvidia 660ti using the Beta Drivers.

Now Battlefield 3 is another Story.. had a fit with "punkbuster" and it still crashes every now and then.

that's the kind of think to expect with PB if you upgrade from 7 to 8.... I did a fresh install, re install BF3 and I have 0 issues

Yep...I was hoping that I wouldn't have to install all my programs "Again".
There is nothing better than a Clean install..for sure. A lot less issues.
Guess you live and learn..and next time as always don't trust a upgrade..when you have the Full program..just bite the bullet. :)
