Armed! not starting

I was trying out some games on my EXOPC tablet. The game Armed! looks really cool and the reviews sound great as well!

Unfortunately, after installing I see a robot for a brief moment (splash screen) and then I'm back in the start screen of Windows. It seems to be running in the back ground and I can switch to it again, but it doesn't actually run.

Anyone else have this problem?

I don't really play stategy games... Like, ever... Too stupid for 'em... But I installed Armed! on my PC and it seems to work fine; I got into the main menu easily and was able to load a single player game. Maybe it's due to the tablet's actual hardware being, idk, a little too slow for today's standards?

Do any other games with a bit more detail in graphics work properly for you? (Not that I was actually able to find any Metro games that require a bit more hardware power to run)

We actually got one of those EXOPC tablets from Ebay to test in the office. We implemented the fix and it will work just great in the next release which should be out before the end of the month.

There is one other game that is said to require DirectX 11 which won't run. But I know my tablet doesn't support that. For this game there was no indication that it required huge specs.

I don't play a lot of games either, but this one seems really cool. At least to give it a shot!

I am quite impressed that the company actually responded the way they did.
So good for you, just keep checking when the update comes out, and hopefully you won't have any other problems

I was surprised as well! It started out as a long shot. Normally companies don't respond in this cooperative way or just don't respond at all.
As soon as I have the fix I will mark this question as solved.

Yeah, and even saying that they have the (almost, probably) exact ExoPC just for testing... That's called dedication
