Have you updated your video drivers with the REAL drivers from the manufacturers website yet?

The built in drivers on install are woefully inadequate for playing most games.

Though are you talking about like games form the app store? Or general PC games like Diablo/WoW/Skyrim etc?

I am on about ones from the app store, do you have any idea where I can get these drivers, if needed?

Do you know what kind of graphics card/chip you have in your computer?

Go to the manufacturers website and look for the driver there. A windows 7 driver will be fine if they don't offer a windows 8 driver.

Hmm... the netbook is going to be tough. It's not going to have much graphic ability, but I would think it would play the simple type games being sold in the app store. The low resolution of the display may also be causing some issues for your. Win 8 seems to require a tleast 1080 vertical resolution to fully function.

But anyway the chip in that machine is the Intel GMA 950. You can go to the intel website and see if they have a windows 7 driver for it. Download and install it. See if that helps...

Yes there is something on Intel's site:

If you didn't managed to fix the problem yet, here are the drivers for your device:

graphics:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18231&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20(32-bit)*&DownloadType=

chipset:

and this one is netbook only:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...=17425&keyword=Mobile+Intel+945GSE+Expresseng

The latest drivers are for Win7 and one is XP but they should work fine.
The zip files have to be extracted and manually installed through Device Manager in Windows.

Good Luck

Hi there,

You'll need 1024x768 minimum resolution for Metro apps to work.
The native resolution of your netbook seems to be 1024x600.
Samsung N110 - Review of the Samsung N110 (ram can be upgraded to 2GB but they usually put 1GB in as default).

The drivers included in the link I posted above are for the folowing devices: (marked in red)
drivers.png
You have to expand and install/update manually all ot them in the group and browse to the folder with the drivers.
This is the best method so far because an exe install won't install them all and Windows Update also don't have all drivers.
It's also the most boring method I know. Sorry.

But after all games can still crash / not work. It also depends how much ram memory your netbook has.
With 1GB it's not much (Windows uses half that size) and Metro games eat a lot of memory (for example Pinball FX2 uses some 500mb and Windows needs more than 500mb for itself).

Already tested:
After running Pinball FX2 on a computer with 1GB ram, it exited after 3 seconds even is the graphics drivers were installed or the graphics card was good enough. I suppose it was the memory.

Good luck

You're welcome Jamster

You can upgrade, if you will, to 2GB ram (remove the old one: there is one slot only)
