    No Games?

I installed Windows 8 64-bit. I don't see any games installed. In control panel, under Programs & Features then under Turn Windows Features on or off I don't see any games. then, from the title screen I do a "type search" for chess and it finds nothing. What gives? I can only hope they deliver a stronger version of chess titans since I was able to beat that on Windows 7.

Or are the games onbaord and I'm just looking in the wrong place?

I have the same problem. I love the pinball game in the consumer preview but its not ion the release preview. I hope they bring it back in the final version.

They are all in the "app store" now... :/ (Though not sure I saw the pin ball there, that was great wasn't it?)

It seems that in the release preview there are no games pre-installed, including the ones you mentioned. In Windows 7, you would have to go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Enable and Disable Windows Features and turn the games on. I just checked and there's no option for the games in Windows 8, so too bad.

EDIT: If you go to the Xbox Live-games section you can see Solitaire there but for me it's grayed out and doesn't start. I think it could be because i'm not signed in to Xbox Live.

I checked the Xbox Live games app, I was logged in and it still showed Solitaire grayed out.

It seems like they've been staggering the release of games into the app store that were available in CP. Not sure why. I was hoping they'd had the developers fix the buggy ones, but Carmen Sandiego and Trump still fail to load for me.

Hi All - I was under the impression that the Games App on my Windows 8 Pro desktop and on my Surface would work in a similar fashion to my windows 8 phone's game app. Whereas all games are located and tracked in the app. Unless I'm missing something the Games App in Windows 8 only tracks and...
