    Editing.....
    Don't know if that matters.
Since I am told I was signed in the wrong Windows region, I went to check the time zone in the Win 8.
It was wrong time zone. It was set at Pacific US and Canada. It should be Eastern US and Canada.
So I changed it to the correct time zone. I thought that would fix the Xbox Live issue. It does not.
Now, I don't remember, during installing the Win 8 Release Preview into my VMware player, that I was asked about the location (time zone ) I was at. So, how Pacific time zone was set for me ? Was the iso itself was in Pacific time zone.
It may sound silly to the readers, but I also installed the Win 8 Release Preview, Chinese Traditional, iso into another VM machine. after successfully installed the Chinese version, I noticed the time was Hong Kong time, about 24 hours ahead of EST Canada. I changed the time, date and time zone, shut down the machine. When I restarted, the Chinese Traditional Release Preview was gone. Only the English version is now present.

The above discovery may be irrelevant, but I am puzzled about the disappearance of the Chinese Traditional Windows 8.

Please ignore the question I posted.
It was a mistake, on my part.... I never have an account with XBox Live, hence the error mesage.
I apologize for wasting your time.

    Thank you.
    I created an account.
How do I sign in with that account on my pc ?
Mind you, I use VMware with Win 8 installed in it.
My host OS is till Win 7. I sign in on my Win 7 PC with the same set of Windows Live ID and password as in Win 8.
But, I still get the same error message.

To Sign in to the pc, you have to have been signed into the same m$ account as u used for the signup in Xbox Live. If u did that, Launch Xbox Live Games on You Windows 8 Virtual Machine and then, in the right hand top side, i will show "Signing In" and then after a few seconds, it will be done.. your avatar will be viewed on the left side of the Xbox Live Games App when launched.

That's fine for this Condition. You can use a host or a Virtual Machine for this Method.

Try Making a New User in The Virtual Machine. Then sign in to the New User with the Microsoft account and try. That might do the trick.

Hope This Helps. If not, Please feel Free to ask further Questions.

    Thank You

    Thank you for ypur patience.

I finally found out the reason..... for whatever reasons :
    1. They had my old e-mail address from an old ISP. So I had to correct that.
    2. Then, while I have never been in Alberta ( region), they thought I am an Albertan. I had to change that.
Now it is all fixed. I am signed in, and I can access XBox Live Games now.

    Thank you.
