Games Wont Run

I have 22 GameHouse games all of which I was able to play as late as about Sept 1 2014.
Now none of these games will load. I think this has been a gradual event, as opposed to all at one time.
When I attempt to run a game from either an icon or by double clicking on the EXE file there is about a 2 sec. delay while the circular "Loading" icon is shown but no further action is evident.
I have other games from Awem, Big Fish, & others which still run without problems.

My computer is an HP P7-1520t 18 months old which came with Windows 8 installed but updated to 8.1in April 2014. Since that time no major changes were made but I have installed & uninstalled some software.

I have tried the Compatibility Troubleshooter & just completed an uninstall & re-download & install of one game.
Because all the games are installed in a folder at C:/GameHouse Games I have renamed the original folder and did a new install. It regenerated the GameHouse Games folder, but it did not run. None of the games that are running are in that folder, but are in C:/Program Files (x86). About half of the games had run required the Compatibility Troubleshooter adjustment to run originally.

I would certainly appreciate any assistance that anyone can provide. I wonder if there is some Service that has been disabled.

Well if you have tried running the games with commbability mode as windows 7 or Windows Vista and/or with administrator rights. The only thing I can ask you, are they being blocked by your router? Some Internet providers have fun by sometimes uploading new patches for their routers. Allso, is your firewall letting em through?

Have you downloaded some application or software from gamehouse that downloads your games? Have you tried to uninstall all games and software from the site with a uninstaller program like Revo Uninstaller?

Thanks for your response!
I don't think my problem can be with router or installer. The games are installed on my computer and do not require any internet connection. As I said I have tried reinstalling to a new folder but that did not help. I even tried installing one game on an older
computer running on XP and that game ran fine.
The GameHouse unhelpful response suggested updating Flash Player but that was no help.

More info

I was finally able to boot to Safe mode. When I tried several games I got the window shown in the attachment. I got the same message on 4 different games where only the location specified was different.

I do not understand why this occurs but hopefully someone can interpret it. It seems strange that it mentions an instruction but then wants to write to memory at the same location.

I also tried using Task Manager in the Startup tab to check whether any of the 4 progams that were noted as having "High Impact" might be the culprit but disabling them did not solve the problem.

I am just gonna guess, but if you tried to start this game or any other game in Windows Safe mode I can say that it will not work. Since safe mode forces windows to start ONLY the necessary applications and programs to make the computer run.

So yeah starting anything that would require the use of your graphics card is a waste of time.

Instead of just renaming the game folder, uninstall the games, uninstall the programs, do a cclean, malwarebytes and adwclean clean on your system, If you got an antivirus run it, if not use windows defender.

Allso would recommend you use an uninstall program like: Revo Uninstaller Pro.

If this doesn't work then try and contact gamehouse and see if they can give you a great walkthrough on how to fix things :D

Thanks again! I have been attempting to get help from GameHouse, but that itself has become another game. None of which has been any help.
The reason that I ran the game in Safe Mode is that is that is what GH suggested. So you are saying that the new window probably does not apply to my original problem. I will try running one of my working games in Safe Mode.

My reasoning thus far of renaming the GH folder and doing a new download is that it should be effectively the same as an uninstall and reinstall since the GH folder no longer exists. Also since I could achieve a download and proper playing on another computer to me that says my internet connection and router are working correctly.

I tried 3 different games while in Save Mode.
2 ran perfectly the other showed an error, but not the one that I attached before.

Another question:
In task manager on the Services tab.
If items are enabled or disabled does the change take effect immediately without rebooting?
