Just happened recently after playing this game The Walking Dead Season 2 for a few days. In games options i set the graphics resolution to match my desktop resolution which is 1920 x 1200. When i tried the game one day after loading it came on screen so big i could only see the top left part of the game intro, like it was over stretched but the picture was clear.
Had no way to be able to escape the game to get back to desktop,so i tried Alt + enter to go into windowed mode, then i notice my desktop was the same over stretched screen like in the game. Now i had to reboot the PC because i was unable to even access anything, even the start button or charms bar in Windows 8.1 to be able to restart.
After a reboot everything is o.k., but if i started the game it happened again, unless i deleted files in the games folder in Documents which erases my last settings in the game. So if i go any higher then the default graphic resolution of the game which is 1024x768 it will get over stretched on the screen.
I am using a display port cable from my monitor to my graphics card, no other game i have does this using the native resolution of my monitor 1920x1200 in those games, it's all fine, even The Walking Dead season one is fine at this resolution.
Now i had tried this and it seemed to solve the issue for some reason. I used a HDMI cable to the monitor from the graphics card and Walking Dead season 2 is fine at 1920x1200. Either something about this game with a display port cable, but it was working for a few days no problems. Any thoughts and help on this is appreciated.
Graphics card is GeForce GTX 660 Windows 8.1 64bit, see most in my specs here.
