Full screen programs (games etc) will not stay full screen

Hello all,

I've been having a very annoying problem for quite a while now. When I play games or use any sort of full screen program, it refuse to stay in full screen and flickers to the desktop after a 10-30 minute period...I'm aware this is probably another program trying to take control, but I can't seem to pin it down. I've tried disabling startup programs through task manager and I've also tried ending background process, with no success.

Can someone please advise how to troubleshoot this issue, or let me know an easier way to find out what is going on...

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Matthew

Thanks for your reply. Yes GPU and MB are both up to date with latest drivers/bios updates...no overclock, and I don't think my i7 4770K reaches much over 60 degrees C at load. GPU temps are around the 80 degrees C mark under load. Specs updated as suggested

Nice rig you have there! You said this has been happening for quite a while. Have you always had the same mouse? Have you tried disabling avg, or even removing it and testing?
