installing a game from a iso getting an error"Please in...

Hello every one my name is Jim I am new here
Two days a go I have downloaded red alert 3 as an ISO file on my new laptop.It is an HP core i7.
When I am trying to install the game using the AutoRun/EASetup I receive a message "Please insert CD/DVD in drive C:"
I have try every thing and I have search the holt web so that why I have ended her asking for help
I have try to run it as administrator,troubleshot it and try it in compatible mode,run it in USB,CD,try to install it in save mode,open it with winrar,re-downloading direct X but ... :/
So I was wondering if any one of you can help solve this error .

It sounds like it's trying to burn to a CD which would be normal for an ISO.

I have mounted the ISO same error message ,I have burn it to USB but same ,try to open it with winrar also same :/

Have you tried burning it to a CD, i would give that a go and if it still doesn't work maybe the download hasn't gone great or there is a corrupt file etc..

If your download is / was legal, you bought the software from the company's website, you can always contact them to get your issue resolved.

If your download is an unofficial pirated copy, according to the forum rules we are not allowed to assist you in working around the game's copyright protection (original CD/DVD required in a drive is common form of copyright protection).

Hi Jim,

As Kari has stated, we can not support piracy here as that appears to be the case in your issue, and thus the error you are receiving. As a gamer myself, I looked around the net for a free legitimate copy but found none, so if it is legit, as stated, you'll need to contact them to find out what's going on.

As to the error, yeah it's more than likely due to the fact that it's missing some files being it appears to be an illegal copy.

It was my firth time here so I did not get the chance to read the forum rules.
Now I have red them it was a torrent download witch is a piracy.
So thanks.

A good point.

A very personal, subjective opinion: I have never understood the paradox, geeks spending hundreds sometimes even thousands to their overclocked monster computers, then pirating the games or other software to be used on those monsters to save a few bucks.

Only to turn around and get a devastating virus or Trojan killing said system

Anyway it appears this issue is solved so I'm out.
