Has anyone installed the old Master Of Orion 2 game? How?

I just found out about DOS BOX and have installed it. Does anyone know to install the old Master Of Orion 2 game and get it to run, presumably with DOS BOX? I would also like to apply the game patches somehow. I understand some windows 7 people had this game running on their computers.
