F1 2011 - anyone?

Anyone got this to work? Just won't start up at all for me.

bump, i cant get this to run either. very annoying

i have done the following:

Re-Installed DX9 (offline & Online installation)
GFWL marketplace client updated
Verified game files & re installed DX for the game (its run via steam)


anyone have any suggestions? it seems to only happen to Codemasters games (Dirt 3 is doing hte same thing)

It runs fine on my end. I'm still on the Consumer Preview, I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I run an old version of GFWL, 3.50.5.0. The latest version of GFWL wouldn't work when I first began using the Consumer Preview back in March. You could give it a try, it couldn't hurt. A few standard suggestions. Run Steam and F1 2011 as an admin, reinstall the redistributables (other than GFWL), run in compatibility mode. If none of those do anything and you're not receiving an error message, I have no idea.
