Bejeweled Twist question

My wife and I had to get a new computer. It is an Asus with Windows 8 and a Geforce GT 640 video card. We bought a new Bejeweled Twist CD-ROM (game box is copyrighted 2008), from Walmart and it does not display properly. It displays HUGE and you can only see the top, left portion of the game- maybe one-fourth of what you should see. I tried un-installing and re-installing. I tried compatibly mode and it did not help. I have found no help on the Pop Cap web site.

My wife has purchased Bejeweled, Bejeweled 2 (Bejeweled 2 works for some strange reason),& Bejeweled 3 in the past, but Bejeweled Twist is her favorite! Does anyone have any suggestions that can make this game work properly? Thank you all for taking the time to read this and for any assistance you can give. :D

p.s. All of the above mentioned games worked fine on our old (2003 & 2004) Alienware computers. They were Windows XP. Thanks again!

Thanks, but that answer does not help. I wanted to know if there is a way to make the game we have work on our new system. As you even stated, they do not even have Bejeweled Twist. That is the one that is played at our place. Even if they had Twist for sale, I do not want to give them more money if there is a game fix out there somewhere.

I guess I will look elsewhere. Until then, the games work fine on my wife's Windows 7 laptop. She will have to be happy with that for the time being! =D Now if I could find a way to play my Nightmare Creatures game! LOL! I really enjoyed that game! Maybe I can find an ancient, working computer somewhere. =) Times, they are a changing! Thanks again!

It looks you ignore this forum post I gave you the link to which if you read had the solution:
http://www.eightforums.com/gaming/26000-bejeweled-twist-not-working.html

Because the solution the guy used was using a Virtual Machine. He used VMWare Player so give that a try.

Well you can play all your old games using emulators or Virtual machines. For Old Dos games people recommend Dosbox.
