I recently purchased Batman Arkham Origins.

As soon as i run the game my Graphics cards fan runs very fast.
I have checked requirements for this game and i meet the maximum requirements listed.

I am concerned i will either burn out my fan on the graphics card by how fast it is running.

Is there any reason anybody knows why this is happening to me,can not seem to find many answers online for this game it is new.
All i can understand of this is maybe because of the intense graphics of this game is the reasons why.

I have :WINDOWS 8.1 Pro 64BIT

Intel i5-2320 CPU @ 3.0 GHZ,3001 MHZ

Corsair CX500 PSU

Corsair CX500 V2 Specs:

AC Input 90-264V
Input Current 8-4A
Frequency 47Hz~63Hz

DC Output Rating:

Max Load Max Output
+3.3V 25A 130W
+5V 20A 130W
+12V 34A 408W
-12V 0.8A 9.6W
+5Vsb 3A 15W

500W TOTAL

EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti SSC 2GB DDR5 RAM this card requires 400w or greater PSU but believe it uses 180w or so

Temps during game reached on CPU were around 45c lower on motherboard, able to monitor with ASUS SuiteII

I ran Speedfan and HWMonitor posted it here.

the fan on your videocard is supposed to ramp up as temperature rises, the same way the fan on that heatsink covering your CPU ramps up as temperature rises- they're designed to function this way. You should have been worrying if temps rose and the fans did NOT ramp up...

eVGA Precision X is pretty useful, you should look into it.

also another useful tool is eXtreme Power Supply Calculator

there's also dozens of other tools for benchmarking / burn-in that you can use to test your PC's cooling/power/performance/etc

Thanks, yes i saw EVGA PrecisionX i downloaded it.This cards fan speeds very fast when game starts and never stops at the speed it's going during the game i would figure after playing awhile it would go even faster. This never happened with other games even Batman Arkham City, one before this game, which is odd, only to think it has more intense graphics Batman Origins,i have tried different graphic settings in game,no change.

Before i never had a monitoring software for the graphics card to see temps, although i do for CPU and motherboard and during game the highest the CPU got is 45c,but the CPU fan does not speed up as much.

EVGA has another program for burn in called EVGA OS Scanner, thanks for reply!
