Solved error in Counter Strike 1.6

Please help me. I have counter strike 1.6. It is working on my windows 8, but the half-life is not working. When I choese new game, nothings happen. What should I do? Thanks for he help.

i think this is based on ur cs 1.6 installation uninstall it and reinstall i hope that this will help btw also provide your full system specs
so if reinstalling dont work then we can see what the prob is...
