Is a CPU temperature in the 70's with a max of about 85 too high for gaming when playing battlefield bad company 2.

I have a quad core i7 3630 cpu.

Will this high temperature damage my cpu? Should I be worried?

What kind of temperatures do you guys get?

Is this a desktop or laptop? If a desktop, what type of cpu cooler do you have installed?

You might want to place it on a flat surface, a table or something if you don't already. Since keeping it on your lap, pillow, or a soft surface will not allow the laptops components to 'breathe' or cool down.
