    XP Games Compatibility/Resolution

I've loaded my old XP versions of some games, such as Freecell, onto my Windows 8 machine. When I play these games the boards are very small. I can resolve the problem by changing the resolution, but don't wish to change the resolution back and forth whenever I play a game or quit playing the game. I can use the compatibility wizard and permanently set the resolution to 640 x 480 for the games, but this is too large and fuzzy. Is there anyway to change the permanent resolution in the compatibility wizard so that these games automatically open in a more desirable resolution? Thank you in advance.

As I don't know your games, I can't really tell if there would be any solution, but here is something to look at, to give you an idea what you could try:
