Has anyone gotten the original Diablo to work properly under Win8? I had it working fine under 7, but 8 is being a lot more problematic. The game technically works, but if you try to alt-tab out (or exit), you get "Diablo has stopped working" crash. It's quite annoying.
Compatibility modes don't do anything for it...at least XP and later. The Win95/98 compatibility modes don't work because it can't detect the CD.
