DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION in games

Twice now in the past week have I had an DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION blue screen related to ntoskrnl.exe and hal.dll, both while playing games.

Any ideas as to why would be much appreciated.

Running Windows 8 Pro on an SSD with latest firmware.

I had this message come up a few times. Along with another message sometimes. I don't remember what it was. Then win8 pro started not booting then repairing, then not booting. Over and over. I tried reinstalling win8 pro also and it would crash. After checking memory, hard drives, and cpu and all found to be good. Got a used motherboard off of ebay. Working perfect now.

My usb ports were a leading indicator of the trouble to come. Usb keyboard would not respond sometimes. The only way to get my keyboard back was to switch ports.

Update your Video Driver for GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Make sure you disable any anti virus software when update your driver.
