Hi Guys.
I am considering upgrading from windows vista to windows 8, but one thing I am not sure of, are games that play on Vista or XP ( Myst Series. Rhem.etc) playable on windows 8?
I have too many games to mention here, but would be grateful if anyone could help me.
Much appreciated.
Thanks.

Try running the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant on your machine. You might gains some insights. If the assistant says anything that questions a game's compatibility, then you could search on "game name Windows 8"--for example.

CeejayMode, you asked me to send you the titles of games I wanted to play, so here goes.
All of the Myst series.
Uru-Ages beyond Myst.
Rhem 1,2,3&4.
Syberia 1&2.
Broken Sword Trilogy & Angel of death.
Atlantis 3-the new world.
Atlantis evolution.
Thanks in anticipation, if these games work OK then I might decide to upgrade to Windows 8.

There's always compatibility mode ! ;)

It does not always work.

CeejayMode.
When I asked for information on games I wasn't expecting you to go to the expense of buying them.
Thanks.

That happens at times, usually to get programs tested in case they don't have them.

Might be useful as well, I mean, I do enjoy a new game in my spare time :)

I ended up torrenting them (considering I was only testing them, I thought I didn't need to buy them. I'm not a pirate, I usually buy games legally), and most of them worked absolutely fine.
