PS3 app possible?

Technological advances should mean that a games app for PS3 should be considered or made. Maybe by a 3rd party developer. I know Microsoft is Xbox360, so don't insult me about this. It is a thought about how we can integrate all the systems on the computer in the same fashion Steam has planned to make to our couch. We already have the Media Server options, but why not make it more fused. With controller options available for connecting our own wireless controllers we could play on the desktop with relative ease. All the game console companies would be on the same playing field, except on the wireless playing field.

I don't know if a programmer who likes to make apps is reading this, but I hope this sparks the idea to create this app.

Sony would never allow it.
