    new Site for my Software

It's still a work in progress but my free Windows programs are available for download again:
    Miles Ahead Software

A friend is doing the web pages for me and hosting the files. As always, they are free to use at your own risk.

Note that the About Boxes and Readme files for the programs still need to be updated with the new url/copyright dates etc..

Those of you on Vista and Windows Seven Forums may know of my little hotkey programs. I very recently obtained a PC running W8. The programs have previously been tested on XP, Vista and W7. I'm just trying some of them out on W8 now (mostly those I need to make using W8 a bit more familiar until I get up to speed.)

    Hi Miles Ahead,

Thanks for sharing your talent; however, I noticed you do not show any "compatibility with" messages on the direct download page so, since you are just beginning your Win 8 testing, shouldn't potential downloaders be advised accordingly? Just curious and the site looks nice BTW.

If it worked in XP, Vista and W7 it's a fair chance it will work in W8 except for Glass or Blur Behind features. Since you all have more hours on W8 than I, I'll rely on you to tell me what works. It's not like I'm funded by AT&T with a 20 machine testing room.

And, as you point out, it's not done yet.

I guess I should mention that nearly all the programs are AutoHotkey or AutoIt3. Which means the exe is just a script with the interpreter "sandbox" wrapped in. It's not low level stuff that could damage the user's system. The only one C++ is a hash utility to calculate MD5Sums. Mainly the programs are hotkey convenience utilities.

Thanks for taking a look at the page. The person coding the web stuff is in control there. I made a couple of suggestion and for the rest, she already knows what to do better than I. My old site I did by hand. Slow sledding but it was an experience. I'm more at home coding components than doing markup and layout stuff.
