Solved Cannon Pixma MP220 NOT WORKING ON WINDOWS 8

Hi, Can someone please help. My Cannon Pixma MP220 printer worked fine on vista, however when I swapped over to windows 8 preview I cannot get it to work (no response at all).

I thought it would be a simple case of downloading a new driver from Cannon support but they do not list any drivers for windows 8 .
Has anyone come across this as well.

Elephant TLK, Thank you so much,would not work on windows 7 drivers but worked fine on vista drivers.

Do you happen to know whee the windows 8 preview version stops working, is it when 8 is officially released i believe in October.

Do i simply upgrade from preview 8 to windows 8 full version?

Please forgive my ignorance as I've never upgraded my OS before.

I am not sure but i think that you will need to reinstall OS.
