I recentrly bought a Bluetooth USB (Orico BTA 408) adapter and I can't make it work.
I downloaded the most recent drivers from the producer website and installed it, but when I go to the Device Manager I find that the "Generic Bluetooth Adapter" has the following problem: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)".
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver several times but I keep getting the same problem.
I tried installing it on another PC on Windows 10 instead of 8.1 and it worked just fine, so I dont know why it keeps failing.
Thank you for your time.
